What's up with these huge boulders?

When can I see baby sand dollars?

What stories do these old stumps tell?

Salish Magazine is a quarterly, online publication that reveals the connectedness of our local, natural world.

Our second issue of Salish Magazine will be online SOON (in the next few days)! This issue will focus on our forest heritage here in the Salish Sea lowlands Watch for stories about some of the things that give the forests their unique character.

Issue #1 is available now, and this first issue is FREE!

From up-close views of pollination to the mysterious lives of sea anemones, we will deliver stories that are rich in visual imagery, scientifically correct, yet fun to read.

>>> Go to the Download Page for the links to get the magazine.

CAUTION! These files are large, especially the highly interactive iBooks one, it is about 133MB, and may take 5 or 10 minutes to load. We recommend that you download these using a WiFi connection, and be patient. But first, make sure there is room on your device for it.

Eventually, we will develop a way to deliver a fully interactive version for all platforms and a smoother delivery system, but we're not quite there yet.

If you're on our newsletter list, we'll send you an announcement with instructions telling how to subscribe for future issues. If you're not on our mailing list, Contact Us and we'll add you to it.

We hope you're as excited as we are!
